A man who was working at a circus that was temporarily in Fresh Meadows, NY died in a bicycle accident last week. The man was riding past a row of parked cars at the time of the bicycle accident. He crashed when the driver of one of the cars opened the car door.
The as of yet unidentified bicycle accident victim sustained head and neck injuries from the bike accident, and he was immediately transported to the Elmhurst General Hospital emergency room. The man was pronounced dead in the emergency room. The driver who opened the car door remained at the scene of the bicycle accident, but there has been no indication that he will face criminal charges.
