Zimmerman allegedly shot the teen, who was unarmed, following an altercation in which Zimmerman claims he was attacked. Zimmerman says that he shot the teen in self-defense.
Zimmerman was recently released from a county jail in Florida on $150,000 bail. According to local Florida authorities, a website has been set up to collect donations for Zimmerman’s defense fund.
