Massachusetts Worker Dies After Becoming Entangled In Corrugated Box-Making Machine.

A 29-year old Massachusetts worker died recently from his personal injuries after becoming entangled in the moving parts of a corrugation box-making machine.

At the time of his wrongful death, the Massachusetts worker was operating a corrugated box-making machine at a Lancaster, MA packaging plant of the Horn Packaging Corporation.  The shaft of the corrugation machine had no protections or safety guards, and the machine was impossible to reverse after the worker became entangled in its moving parts. 

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration fined Horn Packaging a total of $130,300 for safety violations revealed from the personal injury accident.
