Two Women Killed in Utah Car Crash.

At around 4 p.m. last Tuesday in Lake Point, Utah,  a car was hit from behind and propelled into a head-on collision on State Route 36. The car accident occurred near the intersection of State Route 36 and Hardy Road and closed road ways for upwards of 4 hours.

Just before the auto accident, two women driving in a silver sedan were traveling north on Route 36. At that time, they slammed on the breaks, causing a second car, a pickup truck, to rear end their motor vehicle. The Sedan swerved head-on into an SUV traveling in oncoming traffic. Neither woman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the motor vehicle accident.

Two women in the sedan were killed. The driver of the SUV sustained non-life threatening injuries.

A fourth car may have been involved in the automobile accident as well. Police were seen investigating the car crash on Tuesday night. The vehicle collision is still under active investigation.
