Maine Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident.

Twenty eight year-old Daniel Fifield, Jr. of Baldwin, Maine was killed after driving his motorcycle off a country road and crashing through a fence.

The Cumberland County, Maine Sheriff’s Department indicated that Fifield was riding on Pigeon Brook Road in Baldwin, Maine at about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.  At that time, his motorcycle left the road and crashed into a culvert before continuing through the fence.

Authorities said that Fifield died from his motorcycle accident personal injuries shortly after being transported to the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

Haverhill, MA Teen Found Guilty Of Causing Fatal Car Accident While Texting.

Aaron Deveau, a Haverhill, MA teenager, was sentenced to a year in jail after a jury convicted him of causing a car accident that killed Donald Bowley and injured Bowley’s girlfriend last year. 

Deveau’s car had crossed the center line before the car accident and then crashed into Bowley’s motor vehicle.  Bowley died 18 days after the auto crash due to the serious personal injuries he sustained in the car accident.

As a result of the jury verdict, Deveau became the first person in Massachusetts to be found guilty of causing a fatal car accident while texting.  After the verdict was read, Deveau apologized to Bowley’s family, who were present in the courtroom.  In addition to spending a year in jail, Deveau was ordered to surrender his driver’s license for 15 years and to perform 40 hours of community service.

George Zimmerman, Awaiting Second-Degree Murder Trial, Is Released On Bail.
