Two Kentucky National Guard Members Killed in Training Crash.

Sgt. Ronald J. Forsyth, 31, of Ryland Heights, Kentucky, and Spc. Jason S. Burnette of Manchester, Kentucky, were both killed in a single-car accident in North Dakota during a training-related exercise last week.

Two other Kentucky National Guard members were also injured in the motor vehicle accident and were transported to a local hospital for emergency room treatment. They were released after receiving treatment for minor personal injuries.

Maj. Gen. Edward W. Tonini, Kentucky’s adjutant general, said that the soldiers were taking part in an engineer-related training exercise at the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, North Dakota at the time of the car accident.

Investigations into the cause of the auto crash are ongoing.
